On Monday February 21, 2011, on the eve of our 32nd Independence Anniversary, in collaboration with the Saint Lucia Social Development Fund (SSDF) we launched our “Rebuild our World Campaign,” featuring the “Rebuild Our World” song and music video by Off the Wall productions, Colin Weekes & Dove Productions & Boo Hinkson and various St. Lucian artistes. Whilst this campaign is about rebuilding our world physically, following the island-wide devastation after Hurricane Tomas in October '10, it is also about rebuilding our country socially, morally and spiritually. The project brought together SSDF, the Government through the PM's office and the Ambassador Extraordinaire, RISE members, artistes, performers and the public in a collaborative effort to bring out the essence of our people in song and creativity. This website will soon feature a link where persons can download the song and video and make a contribution to the campaign. Donations will go towards a Youth Arts & Entertainment Development Initiative being planned with RISE & SSDF. |
